Funeral services for Carolyn (Shearin) Clark, 77, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark died Monday, January 20, 2025, in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Clark was born May 17, 1947, in Temple, the daughter of John Booker Shearin and Betty (House) Shearin.   She married Gary Clark, June 25, 1965 in Temple at Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Clark was a receptionist for Dr. Bruce Thompson for many years.  She retired in 1998.  She attended Vista Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, John Wayne Shearin, Renee Bowery and Charlotte Shearin.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Gary Clark, one son Dwayne Clark and one daughter Mandy Clark, one brother Michael Shearin; three grandchildren, Camryn Clark, Peyton Walker and Caden Clark; and one great-grandchild, Lorelei.
