Carol went home to join her Lord and Savior and her many loved ones that had gone before her on October 10,2024. Visitation will be October 28, 2024, at 12:00 with graveside service to follow at 1:00 The North Belton Cemetery 1500 N Main St Belton, Texas 76513. Dossman Funeral Home is assisting in services.
Carolyn Sue Wallace was born on May 23,1946 to Jessie Mae Skinner and Dudley Brooks Teeter in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Carol was the youngest of 8. Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belton. She and her husband Bob built up a concession business from one single snow cone truck to selling their famous lemonade, funnel cakes and many other items in fairs and events across Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. They also owned and operated an RV park in Belton. Carol loved spending time with family and taking care of her precious dogs Max then later came Jake. Carol was a 2-time cancer survivor and in 2013 was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She spent her days reading, coloring and doing her puzzle books. These activities, coupled with caring for her dog Jake and being with her family, gave her immense joy. She loved nature and spent a lot of time sitting and watching the birds and squirrels. In 2020 Carol had a series of strokes that left her incapacitated and no longer able to be at home. The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the staff of Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in San Augustine, TX. for the outstanding level of care and love they provided to her during her last 4 years.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and 3 brothers Walter Teeter, Delton Teeter and Dudley Brooks Teeter Jr. Sister Mary Brummett. Husband of 31 years Bob Wallace and granddaughter Amanda Wallace.
Left to honor and cherish her memory are daughter Susan Hutchinson, husband Ben; son Marty Wallar and wife JoVeda; bonus son Burch Wallace and wife Kathy; bonus daughter Barbara Pickett and husband John; Her grandchildren, Mason Wallar, Ryan Samaniego and wife Brittany, Kyndal Samaniego, Garrett Hutchinson, Ashlyn Barrientos and husband Alex, Jennifer Barnett and husband Johnathan, Jessica Haynes, Tami Triche and husband Russell, Sandra Jordan and husband Robert, Anson Moreno; 18 great grandchildren; sister Lois Snyder; brothers Albert Teeter and wife Barbara ,and Loyd Teeter; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in Carol’s name to Helping Hands Ministry 2210 Holland Rd B Belton Tx. 76513.
