Graveside service for Carol Jean Hooks-Lambert, 80, of Belton will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Carol died Wednesday December 8, 2021, at her home in Gatesville.
Carol was born July 13, 1941, in Waco, Texas to Gene and Edna Shomake.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Kite and wife Jenny of Belton and Kevin Kite and wife Shannon of Gatesville; a sister Berta Clark; five grandchildren, Crystal Kite, Cody Kite and wife Marilyn of Grandberry, Raymond Kite and wife Britney of Georgetown, Ashley Collins and husband Jason of Gatesville, and Beau Kite.
Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
