Brenda Joyce Willingham

Brenda Joyce Willingham passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Temple.

Graveside services will be Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00AM at Bosqueville Cemetery, Bosqueville, TX.

Brenda Joyce Hill was born in Waco, Texas on February 25, 1940.  She graduated from LaVega High School in May 1958.

She married the love of her life on January 31, 1959.  Their first-born son, Flint Lydell Willingham on March 12, 1960.  Their youngest son Brian Keith Willingham was born on December 31, 1962.

Brenda was a proud homemaker until after Brian started school in 1969.  She worked at Hillcrest Hospital for 32 years until she retired in 2001.  She was a secretary in the Dietary department until she transferred to the Chaplain’s office toward the end of her tenure.

Brenda become a proud Granny when Samantha Joyce was born February 14, 2002.  Brenda was blessed again when Laura Ann was born November 24, 2003.

Brenda loved spending time with her family members.  She enjoyed board games, dice games, dominos, cards, watching movies and having devotional time reading her bible daily.

Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman on 11/18/1991, and her son Flint, on 5/2/2017.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, Ila and Belvin Hill, her sisters, Kathryn Cannon and Ila Bates, and her brother, Rodney Hill.

Brenda is survived by her son, Brian and his wife Melody, granddaughters, Samantha and Laura of Salado, her brother Albert and Betty of Baytown, and many nieces and nephews.

Brenda will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts, until we are united again with Christ in Heaven.
