Funeral services for Brenda (Culp) Edmondson, 68, of Moody, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 PM - 8:00PM Friday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Edmondson died Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Edmondson was born October 4, 1955, in Corpus Christi, the daughter of Ray and Winnie (Baggerly) Culp.   She graduated from Belton High School and attended Nursing School to become an LVN.   She worked as an LVN for many years.

She married Larry Drake October 4, 1974.  She later married James Edmondson, April 26, 1996, in Belton.   She was baptized in the Church of Christ in Temple.

Mrs. Edmondson was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Glenda Grau and one grandson, Troy Martin.

Survivors include her husband, James Edmondson; two sons, Dustin Drake and Tucker Drake and one daughter Kimberly Drake; one brother, Dwight Culp, and four sisters, Belinda Shumate, Clarinda Wheeler, Rhonda Bills and Lorinda Stone Scarborough; seven grandchildren, Damion Drake, Jakob Wright, Caleb Drake, Haley Drake, Brendalyn Woody, Wyatt Wright and Kimber Drake; and three great-grandchildren, Ava Drake, Ella Drake and Addelyn Maxwell.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
