Bobbie Ruth Pruitt

Funeral services for Bobbie Ruth Pierce Pruitt, 73, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Val Verde Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pruitt was born February 19, 1946 in Salado, the daughter of John Pierce and Valta (Evans) Pierce.  She married Jimmy Pruitt in 1964 in Bell County.  She was a member of the Longhorn Riding Club in the 1970's.   She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Pruitt was preceded by her husband in 2000; one son Jimmy Pruitt Jr. and one daughter Ruth McKenzie.

Survivors include one daughter Tammie Pruitt of Belton and two sisters Juanita Collins of Dayton, Ohio and Linda Ratliff of Belton; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
