Billy Gene Shiller

Graveside services for Billy G. Shiller, 81, of Harker Heights will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Taylor City Cemetery with Rev. George Qualley officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home chapel.

Mr. Shiller died Thursday, September 22, 2022 in a Temple hospital.

Mr. Shiller was born, February 12, 1941, in Thrall, the son of Lumie Vince and Viola Vada (Wilson) Shiller.  He was a graduate of the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.  He married Dorothy Oujezdsky June 19, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor.   He worked for 41 years at Central Texas College as a systems analyst/computer programer.   He retired in 2012.

Mr. Shiller was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Shiller, one son Cory Shiller and one sister Marilyn Artieschoufsky.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Billy’s memory be made to the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center- Animal Shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
