Billy J. Haire

Billy J. Haire, 89, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at a Bartlett Nursing Home.

Graveside services for Mr. Haire will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 9:30 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton with Gene Smith officiating.

Mr. Haire was born in Bell County on September 14, 1931 to J.R. and Wilma (Henderson) Haire. He grew up in Bell County and later moved to Belton where he worked in the construction business, working on such projects as the Belton Dam. He also owned and operated a lawnmower repair business in Belton for over 40 years.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, brother Verlon Haire, and sisters Wanda Andrews, Barbara Jenkins, and Doris Rhea. He is survived by a brother, Larry Haire, Sr.
