Billie "Beejay" Gunn

Billie Joyce "Beejay" Gunn, 79, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her home in Temple.

Graveside services for Beejay will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Steve Marshall officiating.

Beejay was born on November 7, 1939 in Troy, Texas to the late William and Laura (Clark) Lavette. See was raised in Troy and was a Troy High School cheerleader. Mrs. Gunn attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She married Corman Dean Gunn on May 1, 1971 in Bell County and they were married for 47 years before he passed away in 2018. She and Mr. Gunn lived in Alaska and Utah before moving back to Temple. Beejay was a longtime member of the Heidenheimer Church of Christ.

Survivors include a step daughter Donna Prystupa, and several dear cousins and friends.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
