Beverly Ann Murphy

Beverly Ann Murphy, 72, of Temple, died Thursday, June 15, 2023 in a Temple Nursing Home.

Mrs. Murphy was born June 17, 1950 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Merwin Palmeroy Weitzel and Stella Mae (Ivey) Weitzel.  She worked for many years as a supervisor for American Container, later Waste Management in the Dallas Ft. Worth Area.   She moved to Bell County in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Horton in 2021.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Horton of Nolanville and Ray Horton of Temple, two sisters Kayla Dudek of Temple and Loretta Heimbold of San Angelo, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
