Betty Ann (Corley) Tibbetts, 84, of Nolanville passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

A graveside service for Betty will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville with Rev. Patricia Warden officiating.

Betty was born on September 8, 1934 in Temple to Jack and Milady (Sladovnik) Corely. She was raised in Sparks and attended Academy Schools. Mrs. Tibbetts married James Tibbetts, Sr. on August 21, 1954 in Temple and they were married for almost 65 years before she passed away. Betty attended the First United Methodist Church in Nolanville for many years and she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Tibbetts was preceded in death by her son Danny Tibbetts in 2011. She is survived by her husband James, Sr. of Nolanville, Sons James Tibbetts, Jr. of Nolanville and Clifford Tibbetts of Nolanville, daughters Lou Ann Mosley of Academy and Dottie Harr of Academy, brothers Jack Corley of Tyler, Texas, Tom Corley of Whitehouse, Texas and Woody Corley of Lindale, Texas, and sister June Stickney-Corley of Washington. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
