Bette Milow

Elizabeth Ann "Bette" (Urquhart) Milow, 99, of Belton passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at a Belton nursing home.

A memorial service for Bette will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Daren Walker officiating.

Mrs. Milow was born on February 8, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska to William and Lottie (Drebert) Urquhart. She grew up in Omaha, graduating high school in Omaha. She attended the University of Nebraska where she played basketball. Mrs. Milow met Arthur R. Milow and they were married on December 13, 1941 in San Antonio. They lived in numerous places all of the world while Mr. Milow worked as a pilot for Pan Am, finally settling in California for many years before moving to Temple in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2012. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton.

Survivors include four daughters; Mardee Lake, Karen Wagstaff, Wendy Stork, Alison Havens, and Candace Falsetti; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
