Antonio A. "Pinke" Salazar

Funeral services for Antonio “Pinke” Salazar, 66, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Sang officiating.  Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home chapel.  A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM following visitation.

Mr. Salazar died March 3, 2021 in a Temple hospital.

Mr. Salazar was born November 10, 1954 in Robstown, the son of Antonio C. Salazar and Eloisa Alejandro Salazar.   He married Santa Garza, January 19, 1980 in Robstown.  They moved to Belton in 1986.    Mr. Salazar worked for Tru MH as a carpenter for many years.   He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jose Luis Salazar.

Survivors include his wife Santa Salazar of Belton; two sons Alex Salazar and wife Liz of Temple, and Isaac Salazar and wife Samantha of Belton; one daughter Veronica Gutierrez and husband William of Belton; two brothers Hector Salazar of Corpus Christi and Juan Salazar of Robstown; two sisters Mary Lou Vela of Corpus Christi and Leonarda Salazar-Rangel of Robstown; and seven grandchildren, Faith Martinez, Eric Gutierrez, Gabriella Gutierrez, Daniella Gutierrez, Isaac Gonzalez, Caleb Salazar and Sophia Salazar.
