Alfonso B. Lopez, Sr.

Alfonso Bueno Lopez Sr. , 59, of Belton passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Baylor Scott and White hospital in Temple with his family at his side.

Alfonso Bueno Lopez Sr. was born on June 4,1961 to Alberto Lopez Sr. and Olivia Bueno Lopez. He was the second oldest of 7 children. He attended Belton High School and worked alongside his father where he developed his well known masonry skills known throughout Bell County. He later decided to pursue a career in concrete construction. He was married to Roberta Roberts on June 16, 1989 and was the father to Amanda Roberts, Olivia Lopez and Alfonso Bueno Lopez Jr.

Alfonso will be especially remembered as a loving father and grandfather, avid Barbecuer, devoted Dallas Cowboy fan and great friend. His memory will live on through his family and preserved in the concrete and masonry work he did throughout Bell County.

His survivors include his three children Amanda Roberts of Belton, Olivia Lopez of Belton, and Alfonso Lopez Jr. of Belton; two brothers Andres B. Lopez of Temple and Alan Lopez of Belton;  sister Celia Longoria of Belton; three grandchildren Kalissa Murphy, Sierra Lopez and Alfonso Lopez lll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Olivia Lopez; brothers Alberto Lopez Jr. , Antonio Lopez Sr. , Abel Lopez; and sister Sanjuanita Lopez Alarcon.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
