Abel B. Lopez

Funeral services for Abel B. Lopez, 54, of Temple, formerly of Belton, will be held at 9 AM Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Armando Aguirre officiating.  Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-7 PM Friday Evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Lopez died Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in a Temple hospital.

Mr. Lopez was born in Beeville, the son of Albert A. Lopez, Sr., and Olivia Bueno Lopez.  He was a graduate of Belton High School.  He worked along side is father as a masonry professional, eventually owning his own company, Abel Lopez Masonry.   He married Sandra Lopez, March 26, 2001 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Survivors include wife Sandra Lopez of Temple; son, Christopher Lopez of Temple and daughter, Samantha Lopez of Temple; three brothers, Alfonso B. Lopez of Temple, Andres B. Lopez of Temple and Alan Lopez of Belton; one sister Celia Longoria of Belton; three grandchildren Gabriel Lopez, Madelina Ott and Jayden Martinez.
