He was born in Livingston, Texas July 3, 1913 to Bronson Asa and Edna Pearl (Zimmerman) Frazer. He grew up and attended schools in Hunt County. He attended East Texas State, Sul Ross University and later the University of Texas. He married Irene Storm July 28, 1935 at Fort Davis. He became a school teacher, teaching in Big Sandy, Coryell County, St. Augustine. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Following the war he worked as a civil engineer at Ft. Hood for over 30 years. Following his retirement he then preached at the Falfurrias Church of Christ. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for many years, he also taught Sunday School for many years. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Republic of Texas, Friends of the Belton Library and was active in Toastmasters. He is preceded in death by his wife and by a sister Faye Griggs and a brother Hobby Frazer. He is survived by one son, John L. Frazer and wife Suzanne of San Antonio, 2 daughters, Judy Cast and husband Don of Belton and Nan Smith and husband Doug of Nashville, TN, 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday night at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Belton Church of Christ.
