Eugene Hugh Hannon

Eugene Hugh Hannon was born October 21, 1911 to Hugh A. and Letha Ulrich Hannon in the Armstrong Community near Belton. He attended Armstrong and Belton schools. He married Margie York on April 20,1932 in Bell Plains. In 1935, he moved from Belton having been employed by F.M. Reeves and Sons highway construction company. He retired in 1981 from Williams Brothers Construction Co. in Houston and returned to Belton. He was a Past Master of Belton Masonic Lodge #166 and is a life long member. He was a Methodist. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Margene Hannon Schuebel in 1975. Survivors include his wife Margie Hannon of Belton; Three grandchildren Mark Schuebel, Catherine Schuebel, Debbie Rogers; Sister Lillian Lewellen of Belton, Sister-in-Law Elsie York of Belton.
