Belton--- Funeral services for Diane Herzog Guthrie, 63, of Temple, will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the Dossman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Private Burial. Mrs. Guthrie died Monday, November 2, 2009, in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Guthrie was born October 31, 1946, in Westphalia, the daughter of Herman Otto Herzog and Alma Marie (Niersman) Herzog. She was the former business owner of The Corner Pocket on Ave. M in Temple for 17 years. She worked for the last six years for Scott and White Hospital. Survivors include one son Lonnie Herzog of Sparks, Nevada; two daughters Diana Powell of Kyle and Tonya White of Temple; three brothers Harold Herzog of Temple, Melvin Herzog of Temple and Lloyd Herzog of Rogers; two sisters Beatrice Jones of Nashville, Tennessee and Betty Mendoza of Temple; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
