Mrs. Smith was born April 18, 1936 in Florence, the daughter of James Ronald Priest and Violet Mozelle Montgomery Priest. She married Earl F. Smith January 21, 1954 in Florence. They moved to Belton in 1974. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Redge Priest. Survivors include her husband Earl F. Smith of Belton; one son Earl F. Smith, Jr. and wife Judy of Little River and one daughter Felita Wheeler and husband John of Lampasas. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
