Eleanor Ruth Bell

Belton--- Graveside funeral services for Ruth Bell, 80, of Moffat will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Moffat Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Bell died Monday, February 22, 2010, in a Temple hospital. She was born March 11, 1929 in Reagan, the daughter of William Harvey Evans and Linnie Ann Ragland Evans. She married Billy Bell March 13, 1949 in Beeville. She worked for many years in Gatesville at the State School for Boys and at Medical Plastics. She also worked for Texas Instruments and later work as a cafeteria manager for Belton School. She was a member of West Main Church of Christ in Gatesville. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband Billy Bell, July 14, 2008 and son and daughter-in-law Allan and Karen Bell. Survivors include son Keith Bell and wife Kay of Gatesville, two daughters Marla Hernandez and husband Albert of Moffat and Becky Bell of Pflugerville; two brothers Jerry Evans of Refugio and Elton Evans of Bayside. Ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
