Mark Brent Jones

Belton--- Memorial services for Mark Brent Jones, 31, of Temple, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at the Foundation United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Kiplinger and Rev. Jack Riley officiating. Mr. Jones died Thursday, February 25, 2010 in a Temple hospital. He was born in Warner Robins, Georgia the son of Walter Jackson (Jack) Jones III and Deena Mosley Jones. He was a 1998 graduate of Tift County High School in Georgia. Mr. Jones also held a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He was a charter member of Foundation United Methodist Church. Currently he was working as a waiter for Cactus Jacks Restaurant in Temple. Survivors include his parents Jack and Belinda Jones of DeFuniak, Florida and Deena Jones of Tifton Georgia; fiancée Kim Ann Schwertfeger of Temple; two brothers Matthew B. Jones of Cameron Park, California and Michael Lee Bray of Tifton, Georgia; three sisters April Tara Jones of Omaha, Nebraska, Tonice Rhea Kreuger of San Diego and Jean Ann Willberg of Temple and grandmother Evelyn Ray of Tifton, Georgia. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
