Carmelita Herrera

Mrs. Herrera was born in Robstown, April 30, 1920, the daughter of Dario and Maria (Zapata) Carrasco. She married Vicente Herrera, Sr. January 30, 1938 in Robstown. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Vicente Herrera, Sr. in 1997, one son Hector Herrera in 1994 and one grandchild Norma Herrera. Survivors include four sons Vicente Herrera, Jr of Moody, Tomas Herrera of Temple, Ruben Carrasco and Juan Herrera both of Belton. Two duaghters Yolanda Ortiz of Belton and Irma Pedrasa of Temple. One sister Elena Herrera of Denton. 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
