Aubrey Dale Conaway

January 31, 1932 — April 14, 2010

Mr. Conaway was born January 31, 1932, in Walnut Springs, the son of Ocie Elias and Nellie Texas (Huckabee) Conaway. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his first wife Minnie (Shaw) Conaway in 1964. He married Lola Barker Oct. 17, 1964 in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Conaway was a metrologist for civil service retiring in 1994. He began serving as a chaplain in 1990 and was ordained in 1996 through the Belton Lighthouse. He was active in JAIL Ministry until retiring in 1996. Survivors include his wife Lola Conaway of Belton; two sons Terrance William Conaway of Warrington England and Mark Arnett Conaway of Belton; three daughters Crystal Jane Thompson of Belton, Rebecca Conaway Lushbough of Waco and Rachael Heather Schneider of Temple. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to JAIL Ministry 211 East Central Belton, Texas 76513
