Cyril Mchenry

May 9, 1920 — April 16, 2010

Mr. McHenry was born May 9, 1920 in Greene County Ohio, the son of Floyd McHenry and Bessie (Waugh) McHenry. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army Infantry. After his honorable discharge in 1945, he made his home in Bell County. He married Mary Frances Chaney, April 9, 1947 in Belton. He worked as a lineman for Southwestern Bell for 32 years and retired in 1979. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances McHenry of Belton; one son David McHenry of Belton and two daughters Diane Hall of Temple and Brenda Mraz McHenry of Temple; one sister Maxine Winkhart of Ohio; six grandchildren, 19, great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice.
