Evonne Wooley

Mrs. Wooley was born December 18, 1940, in Belton the daughter of Garland Willis Elliott and Cecil Bell (Richards) Elliott. She was a life long resident of Belton and graduate of Belton High School. She married Sonny Wooley February 19, 1960 in Belton on the campus of Mary Hardin Baylor. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Wooley were in business together for the last 40 years. They owned and operated many Belton businesses, currently Longhorn Motors. She was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Sonny Wooley of Belton, daughter Renee Wooley of Belton, three brothers Kenny Elliott of College Station, Doyle Elliott of San Antonio and Richard Elliott of Liberty Hill; two sisters Dapthena Renick of Beaumont and Eva Nell Simek of Belton; two granddaughters, Mikayla Dickerson and Micha Denny both of Belton.
