Graveside services for Betty Ann Barge of Belton will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at North Belton Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lewis and Rev. Johnner Martin officiating. Mrs. Barge died Saturday June 5, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 15, 1923 to Martha (Server) and Elbert Potts in Belton. She was a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a long time member of both the First United Methodist Church of Belton and the board of the Historical Society of Bell County. She was a school teacher for several years before becoming an owner with her husband of the largest full-blood Charolois herds in North America. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Vernon Barge, Jr. and one great-grandson. Survivors include one son, Vernon W. (Bill) Barge III, seven grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren.
