Judy Curlene Merrell

Judy C. Merrell, age 64, of Temple, formerly of Hobbs, New Mexico died Tuesday at her home. Private services will be held later in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born in Quanah, Texas on April 3, 1946 to Curtis Hindsman Cotton Jr. and Alama Nadine (King) Cotton. She grew up in Childress and moved to Hobbs, New Mexico in her teens. She lived there until recently when she moved to Temple. She was a beautician for over 30 years in Hobbs. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Kim Anderson of Temple and Christina McKelvy of Hobbs, NM; mother, Nadine Cotton of Hobbs, NM; 2 brothers, Gary Cotton and Mark Cotton both of Hobbs, NM; sister, Vickie Little of Austin; grandchildren, Victor McKelvy II and Cameron Anderson; great grand daughter, Amelia Jade McKelvy.
