Minerva Delgado

Belton--- Funeral services for Minerva "Catie" Delgado, 59, of Belton will be held at 10 AM Monday July 5, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Angelo Bertini officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Delgado died Wednesday evening June 30, in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Delgado was born May 1, 1951 in Robstown, the daughter of Fidel Aguilar, Sr and Guadalupe (Herrera) Aguilar. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. Mrs. Delgado was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Saragosa Aguilar. Survivors include her husband Santos Rendon of Belton, two daughters Nelda Deholloz of Belton and Stacie Delgado Ortiz of Temple; three brothers Moises Aguilar, Sr. of Belton Fidel Aguilar, Jr and Inez Aguilar, Sr. of Belton; four sisters Maria Garza of Belton, Susie Carrasco of Belton, Lina Mendez of Belton and Chenta Herrera of Moody; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
