Weldon Duane Vaughan

Belton Memorial services for Weldon D. Vaughan, 89, of Argyle, formerly of Belton, will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Temple Garden of Memories Mausoleum with Chaplain Kenneth Peel officiating. Mr. Vaughan died July 20, 2010 in his home in Argyle. Mr. Vaughan was born November 23, 1920 in Winnsboro, the son of Henry Lee Vaughan and Martha Berry Vaughan. He married Wanda McNitzsky, she preceded him in death in 2000. Mr. Vaughan was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He retired from Civil Service in 1985. Mr. Vaughan was a charter member of Foundation United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters Mary Duncan of Argyle and Jeri Buckner and son-in-law Hulen Lee Buckner of Argyle and three grandchildren, Tammy Boland Ricklic, William Vaughan Van Dop and Katie Vaughan Van Dop.
