Mary Rebecca Bridges

A Celebration of Life Gathering for friends and family will be held at Mary's home, 5113 Whistle Stop, in Temple on Sunday, September 12, 2010, at 3 p.m. Mary Rebecca Bridges, age 58, of Temple died Tuesday at a Temple Hospital. Mary was born July 1, 1952 in Temple, Texas to Gerald Jackson and Nelta Leebeth (Powell) Bridges. She was a 1970 graduate of Belton High School and a 1973 graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She worked for First National Bank for 10 years then worked for Scott and White Hospital for over 27 years. She was a member of the Val Verde Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Lorianne Bridges of Temple, father, Gerald Bridges of Belton, 3 sisters, Melinda Bridges of Temple, Virginia Runyan of Belton and Patricia Simmons of Aberdeen, South Dakota.
