Allen Anthony Coco, Jr.

Belton--- Mass of Christian Burial for Allen A. Coco, Jr, 71, of Morgan's Point Resort will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 11, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Rev. James Misko officiating. Burial will follow at Temple Garden of Memories Cemetery. A Rosary will be Friday evening at Christ the King Catholic Church at 7 PM. Mr. Coco died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at The Cottages in Round Rock. Mr. Coco was born July 12, 1939 in Moreauville, Louisiana, the son of Allen A. Coco, Sr. and Hilda LaCour Coco. He received his BBA Degree from North Texas State University in 1964. He married Mary Russell May 22, 1965, in Odessa. He received an honorable discharge from the U. S. Army in 1967. He retired from the City of Odessa as Human Resource director in 1998. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and past Parish Council member. He was Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 7196, 2003-2004 and a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Mark Coco. Survivors include his wife Mary Coco of Morgan's Point Resort, two sons Kenneth Coco of Midland and James Coco of Gatesville; daughter Katherine Cook of Austin; one brother Roger Coco of Dallas and five grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
