Funeral Services for Brian Wayne Kovar, age 43, of Belton will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rob Millikan officiating. Burial will follow in the North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Kovar died Wednesday in Harker Heights. He was born November 23, 1966 in Taylor to Rudolf and Pamela Joyce (Smith) Kovar. He grew up in Taylor and attended Taylor High School. He married Julie Robin Edwards on November 30, 2001 in Mineral Wells. He was a Christian and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, race cars, motorcycles and spending time with his family and two dogs. He was a plumber employed by Roto-Rooter for 9 years. Survivors include his wife, Julie Kovar of Belton, 4 sons, Kevin Lee Kovar of Austin, Matthew Ross Kovar of Warsaw, Indiana, Joseph Gabriel Cina of Harker Heights and Corey Clay Cina of Killeen; daughter, Christi Lea Taylor of Temple; parents, Rudolf and Pam Kovar of Round Rock, 3 grandchildren Sheala Sheleece Cina, Kayli Michelle Taylor and Leah Justinne Taylor. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Pallbearers are Todd Lantzsch, Kory Robbins, Scott Murray, Anthony Quinney, Darwin Dlouhy and Mike Jensen. Donations may be made to Roto Rooter for the Brian Kovar Foundation for motorcycle safety for the coming year.
