Alfred Clarence Macek

Services for Alfred Clarence Macek, age 71, of Morgan's Point Resort will be Monday at 1:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Macek died Tuesday in a Temple hospital. He was born in March 27, 1939 in Burlington, Texas to John P. and Amy (Zajicek) Macek. He grew up in east Bell county and married Johnnie Jo Hector on February 13, 1976 in Milam County. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 33 years in the maintenance department. Survivors include wife, Johnnie Macek of Morgan's Point Resort, step-daughter, Carolyn Schlickeisen of Morgan's Point Resort, 2 brothers; John Macek and Robert Macek both of Zabcikville, 2 sisters; Evelyn Lewis of Zabcikville and Doris Volcik of Granger; granddaughter, Leeann McCall and husband Ricky of Buckholtz, 2 great grandchildren, Reagan McCall and Ricky McCall Jr. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge.
