Vella Marie Preece

Belton--- Funeral services for Vella Marie Preece, 63, of Belton, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Dossman Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Mrs. Preece died Wednesday October 20, 2010, in a Temple Hospital. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Preece was born January 12, 1947, in Belton the daughter of Lewis Hardy Wilson and Rose Marie Grant Wilson. She grew up in Salado and was a Salado High School graduate. She worked for Izzy Design (Superior Chaircraft) in Belton for 30 Years, retiring in 2009. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susie Michelle Preece, October 20, 2010. Survivors include her son Lewis Wayne Preece of Morgans Point Resort and two daughters Teresa Preece Jones and Lisa Preece Adams both of Belton, brother James Hardy Wilson of Belton and sister Linda Dianne Wilson Thompson of Moffat, 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
