Services for Frances E. Mieras, 86, of Temple, formerly of Copperas Cove, will be at 10 a.m. on Monday October 25, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Minister Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM Tuesday, October 26 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio where she will join her husband Master Sergeant (Ret.) Donald Mieras. She died Wednesday, October 20 in Temple. She was born on March 3, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On December 7, 1954 she married the love of her life Donald Mieras at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Frances was a devoted army wife and mother. She was an American Red Cross volunteer at Darnall Army Community Hospital for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Mieras and a daughter Frances I. Mieras. Survivors include two children, son, Dr. Thomas Mieras and wife Melissa of San Antonio and daughter Donette Cantrell and husband James of Salado. Seven grandchildren, Robert Mieras and wife Candice of Copperas Cove, Valerie Wierzbicki and husband Johnny of Moody, Natalee and Ashlee Cantrell of Salado, and Ryan, Shawn, and Michael Mieras of San Antonio. Two great-grand children Jaidan and Bryton Mieras of Copperas Cove.
