William I. Ankenbauer

Belton--- Funeral services for William I. (Bill) Ankenbauer, 77, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Oct 25, 2010 at the Dossman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Dunson officiating. Burial will be Friday in at Union Cemetery in Livermore, Iowa. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday evening from 5-7 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Ankenbauer died Friday, October 22, 2010 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Ankenbauer was born November 26, 1932, in Dedham, Iowa, the son of William S. and Nellie Opal (Bell) Ankenbauer. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Ankenbauer married Marilyn Coleman, August 2, 1953 in Livermore, Iowa. He worked for many years with Ford as a parts manager. His last position was with the Mid America Division in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Duncombe, Iowa and attended the First Christian Church in Belton, Texas. He was preceded in death by one son Scott Allen Ankenbauer in 1964. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Ankenbauer of Belton; son William R. Ankenbauer of Belton and sister Zulabel Erickson of Gilbert, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Belton, P. O. Box 367 Belton, Texas 76513 or the charity of your choice.
