Katherine L. Brooks

Belton--- Memorial services for Katherine L. Brooks, 83, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Belton with Rev. Judy Liljestrand officiating. Mrs. Brooks died Friday October 29, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Brooks was born September 1, 1927 in Corona Queens, New York the daughter of Charles Pinckney and Cornelia Emiline (Pedro) Pinckney. Mrs. Brooks was a Registered Nursed retiring in 1998. She moved to Belton in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband Roddie J. Brooks, December 12, 2009. Survivors include one son, Sidney Brooks of Pflugerville, one daughter Jay Brooks of New York, New York. Three grandchildren, Dade LePree of Long Island, New York, Austin and Brooklyn Brooks both of Pflugerville. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
