Tom Rich

Belton--- Memorial services for Tom Rich, 66, of Morgan's Point Resort, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday with Rev. Billy Pedigo and Rev. Jim Crothers officiating. Mr. Rich died Friday January 14, 2011 at his home. Mr. Rich was born June 1, 1944 in Columbus, Indiana the son of Charles Donald Rich and Virginia Marcell Thompson Rich. Mr. Rich married Patricia Eubanks July 31, 1965 in Wichita Falls. He was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force, among his many medals and honors he received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Mr. Rich was an artist. He worked as an airbrush artist in the automotive field. He worked mostly for himself and most recently was a mentor for Macco. He was also an award winning song writer for his original song, "I Think About It" Mr. Rich was a member of Nolan Valley Baptist Church and a missionary for Hope for the Hungry. Mr. Rich was preceded in death by a grandson Thomas Alaxander Rich, February 14, 2006. Survivors include his wife Patricia Rich of Morgan's Point Resort, three sons Douglas Rich of Temple, Daren Rich of Morgan's Point Resort and Charles D. Rich of Morgan's Point Resort; two daughters Debra Edgar of Temple and Kasandra McKelvy of Waco; one brother Douglas E. Rich of Moffat and one sister Elaine Murray of Morgan's Point Resort; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home in Belton in charge of arrangements.
