Inocencio Ortiz

Funeral services for Inocencio Ortiz, age 67, of Temple will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Dossman Funeral Home with David Ortiz officiating. An evening service will be held Thursday night beginning at 6:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Ortiz died Monday at his home in Temple. He was born April 8, 1943 in Taylor, Texas to Jesus C. and Alifonsa (Munoz) Ortiz. He grew up in Taylor and later moved to Temple. He was a painting contractor for over 41 years and owned Ortiz Painting. He also pastored El Sendero De La Cruz Church in Austin and Eco's De Fe Church in Cameron. He married Orfa Garcia on October 29, 1961 in Lubbuck, Texas. He was a member of Templo De Alabanza Church in Taylor. Survivors include his wife Orfa Ortiz of Temple, 3 sons, David Ortiz and wife Esther of Austin, Jesus Ortiz and wife Guadalupe of Austin, Inocencio Ortiz Jr. and wife Kelly of Temple, 4 daughters, Olivia Ortiz and husband Ruben of Pleasanton, Linda Hernandez and husband Juaquin Jr. of Temple, Alicia Rosales and husband Ramon Jr. of San Antonio, Margarita Monrreal and husband Chris of Troy, 2 brothers, Isaias Ortiz of Taylor and Moses Ortiz of Dallas, 2 sisters, Susena Conde of Temple and Elida Camargo of Red Oak, 11 grandchildren, Avea Ortiz and husband Wade of Kyle, Echo Malcik and husband Stephen of Kyle, Juaquin Hernandez III of Temple, Krystal Hernandez of Temple, Kristine Hernandez of Temple, Micaela Rosales of San Antonio, Maelene Rosales of San Antonio, Christopher Monrreal of Troy, Toribeth Ortiz of Austin, Inocencio Ortiz III (Trey) of Temple, Tyler Ortiz of Temple, 4 great grandchildren, Isabel Ezell, Marli Ezell and Timothy Ezell all of Kyle and Avery Tuck of Temple.
