Mary A. Moore

Belton--- Funeral services for Mary A. Moore, 89 of Belton will be held at 1:30 PM Friday February 18, 2011 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Jesse Jenkins and Clyde Carter officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 PM at the Rhodes Cemetery (13275 Pond Springs Rd.) in Austin. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Moore died Wednesday February 16, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Moore was born October 26, 1921 in Sedalia, Missouri the daughter of Charles Roy and Cecil (Gebhardt) Carpenter. She married Jim E. Moore May 7, 1948 in Brady. She was a member of the Leon Valley Church of Christ in Temple. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband in 1991. Survivors include son James David Moore of Cedar Park and daughter and son-in-law Linda and Rick Gregory of Belton, brother Charles Carpenter of Kresgeville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
