Wanda Willisdean Piper

Graveside services for Wanda Piper, age 90, of Temple will be Friday at 2:00PM at Murphree Cemetery in Evant. Mrs. Piper died Monday in a Temple nursing home. She was born in Mills County, Texas May 29, 1920 to Anon Lee and Ora Lea (Hodo) Flatt. She grew up in Hamilton County and was a graduate of Evant High School. She married William L. "Bill" Piper on December 14, 1938 in Lampasas, Texas. She has lived in Victoria, San Antonio and Beaumont before moving to Salado in 1978. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Salado. Survivors include her son, Trent Piper of Mc Gregor. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
