James Robbins

BeltonGraveside funeral services for James Robbins 48, of Salado, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday March 12, 2011 at the North Belton Cemetery with Minister Joe Baisden officiating. Mr. Robbins died March 9, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Robbins was born May 12, 1962 at Guantanamo Bay Cuba, the son of Harold Wayne Robbins and Mollie Jeane Hunnicutt Robbins. He attended Belton Schools before graduating from Dulles High School in Houston. He was a free lance Diesel Mechanic, though his passion was fishing. He was a Baptist. Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his father; brother, Darrell Robbins and sister Shirley Robbins. Survivors include two sons Jonathan Robbins of Belton and Adrian Robbins of Nederland; two daughters Amanda Robbins of Houston and Savanah Robbins of Nederland; mother, Mollie Robbins and step father J. D. Anderson of Temple; one sister Donna Baird and husband Glenn of Belton; three step sisters Gwainne Preston and husband Mark of Temple, Janice Phillips and husband Carl of Belton and Toni Scroggins and husband Raymond of Hubbard; two grandchildren William and Thomas Lee. Niece Beckie Braden and husband Justin and nephew Jacob Baird; four great nieces Josie, Railee, Lanie and Roz; and his dog Blue. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
