Lucille Taylor

Services for Lucille Taylor, age 81, of Belton will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home with Minister Joe Basiden officiating. Burial will follow in the North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died Friday in a Temple hospital. She was born on December 9, 1929 in Mobile, Alabama to John Carey and Minnie Lee (Gilmore) Powell. She grew up in Mobile and worked in retail sales as a young adult. She moved to Texas in 1971 and to Belton in 1981. She was a member of the Robinson Avenue Baptist Church in Copperas Cove. Survivors include 2 sons, David Cooper of The Grove and Donald Cooper of Spicewood, 2 daughters; Lynn Anderson of Worland, Wyoming and Laura Carls of Grand Haven Michigan, 2 sisters; Minnie Lee Renshaw and Katherine Chapman both of Mobile, Alabama and also 3 grandchildren.
