Belton--- Memorial services for Winnie Ray Johnson, 65, of Temple, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Holland with Rev. Corey Ross officiating. Cremation. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 AM, one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday May 4, 2011 in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born March 28, 1946 in Temple, the daughter of Harris and Alta (Brown) Bennight. She was a life long resident of Holland. She worked as a medical secretary at King's Daughters Clinic in Belton for several years. She was a member of the Williamson County Cowboy Church in Liberty Hill. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by one great grandchild. Survivors include four sons Billy Walker, David Walker, Johnny Walker and Kenneth Walker all of Holland. Two brothers Delmar Bennight of Holland and Douglas Bennight of Taylor; three sisters Shirley Butler of Temple, Dianne Ashcraft of Sherman and Euna Benthall of Dallas. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Holland Building Fund 506 Dixie Street, Holland, Texas 76534.
