Joseph Conrad Eide, age 79, of Belton died Friday in a Temple hospital. Memorial services will be held later in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Eide was born March 29, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Lucille (Hunt) Eide. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his discharge in 1957 he worked as an electrician and for a while owned his own business. He has lived in Texas for over 40 years and locally for 11 years. He was a member of the Huntsville American Legion. He married Donna Mae Mumford Noble on November 11, 1998 in Des Moines. Survivors include his wife, Donna Eide of Belton, 2 step-sons, Phillip Noble of Temple and Steven Noble of Round Rock, 3 step daughters, Deanna Henderson of Harlingen, Leona Miller and Charlotte Miller both of Alvin. He is also survived by a number of step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
