It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Frances Nell Creekmore of Jarrell, Texas, age 64. After a brave battle with cancer, she passed peacefully at Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas on Sunday evening, May 22nd. Frances was born the 6th daughter of Guy Dewey Grant and Mamie King Grant in Abilene, Texas. She was born and raised a Texas girl with gypsy blood. She was a student of life and loved by people of all walks of life. She is many things to many people; Mom, Nana, Sister, Ms. Francie. She served many years as the Director's Assistant at Park Place Care Center in Georgetown, Texas. Prior to that she provided an unparalled love and service to many memorable patients as a CNA. She was a nurturer in every sense of the word. She's always had a soft spot in her heart for animals and is a proud member of the ASPCA. In fact, she has always rooted for the "Underdog". Her free time was spent playing BINGO at one of her favorite Bingo halls, but only on days that end in "y". To know her, is to love her. She is survived by her loving & faithful husband, James Creekmore of Jarrell; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Chris Martin of Anderson; a son, Billy Patrick Wright of Jarrell; her "babies" Fancy Marie and Patrick Clyde "Bubba"; siblings, Dewie Von Whalde, Dolly Raiford, Minnie Maddox and Tommy Grant; grandchildren; LeAnn and Cal Lennie, Cody Reynolds & Rocky & BJ Howard; great grandchildren, Lexie, Hallie, Brent and Forest. As well as many nieces and nephews who say good-bye to their "Favorite Aunt". She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Shirley Grant Warrick and Betty Jo Booth, as well as her precious Gypsy Nell and many other loved ones. What a joyous reunion they will have. Our family wishes to express a deep gratitude to Dr. Christal Murray, nurse's Sheryl, Albert and Lisa, who cared for "Nana" and our entire family during this difficult time. Family and friends are invited to a visitation to take place at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas on Thursday, May 26th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Graveside services will be given by Travis Burleson of First Baptist Salado on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 am.
