Frank Owen Adams

Mr. Frank O. Adams, 72, of Belton died Tuesday, May 25, 2011 at his home. A private memorial service is planned. Mr. Adams was born June 24, 1938, in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Frank Jackson Adams and Emma Gladys (Bowen) Adams. Mr. Adams served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War era. He married June Hagler in Duncan, Oklahoma. They made their home in Houston where he owned the T and A Financial Company later known as American Finance. In 2003 they move to Belton from Houston. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife June Adams, July 28, 2010. Survivors include one son Jay Adams of Birmingham, Alabama and two daughters Penny Lane of Temple and Abby DeWeese of Alvin, one brother Steve Adams of Maylene, Alabama and one sister Kay Johnson of Hueytown, Alabama; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
