BeltonMemorial services for Larry Driver, 84, of Belton, will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Buchele officiating. Burial will be in Coca Beach, Florida at a later date. Mr. Driver died Wednesday June 1, 2011 at his home in Belton. Mr. Driver was born May 22, 1927 in Staunton, Virginia, the son of Lester M. Driver and Lucille E. Corbin Driver. He was a graduate of George Washington University. Mr. Driver was a World War II veteran and the Korean conflict, serving in both the U.S. Navy and Army, retiring in 1965 from the U. S. Army. He also retired in 1987 from the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of Foundation Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother Lucille Driver of Belton; five daughters Sara LoRiver of Pahoa, Hawaii, Patricia Driver of Coca Beach, Florida, Connie Bell, Lisa Wilson of Kenton, Ohio and Cale Driver of Indianapolis, Indiana; step-sons Larry Cash of Staunton, Virginia and Michael Allen of Lexington, South Carolina; step-daughter Donna Ingram of Belton many Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
