James Gaylon Arnold Sr

Services for James Gaylon Arnold Sr., age 56 of Salado will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. John Warden officiating. Burial will follow in the Salado Cemetery. Mr. Arnold died Friday at his home in Salado. He was born January 17, 1955 in Belton to James Grover and Shirley Ann (Warrick) Arnold. He grew up in Central Texas. He spent his life in ranching and construction and worked for Mike Walker Construction. He also loved to hunt. He married Frieda Frances Mikeska on July 7, 1973 in Taylor, Texas. He attended 3 C Cowboy Church. Survivors include his wife Frieda Arnold of Salado, 2 sons; James Arnold II of Salado, Daniel Scott Arnold of Georgetown, daughter; Shelia Kelley of Jarrell, 2 brothers; Kirk Arnold of Belton and Joe Arnold of Salado, sister; Pam Brown of Port Lavaca, and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.
