Rance Lee Bruton

Belton---Funeral services for Rance Lee Bruton, 64, of Belton will be held at 10 AM Tuesday July 5, 2011, at the Dossman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Bruton died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at his home in Belton. Mr. Bruton was born March 30, 1947 in Belton, the son of Calvin S. and Barbara(Cox) Bruton. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he was a prisoner of war. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Harker Heights V.F.W. Mr. Bruton married Cindy Beebe Wenger September 23, 2003 in Belton. He was an insurance agent for many years. Survivors include his wife Cindy Bruton of Belton; four sons Bradley Storm Bruton, Pyett Bruton, Chad Bruton and Brandon Bruton all of Belton. Two daughters Wendy Bruton of Eddy and Bobbie Bruton of Belton. One sister Mary Simmons of Belton; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends for visitation, 6-8 PM, Monday evening July 4, 2011, at the Dossman Funeral Home.
